After laughing like mad, I must thank you for including my post, “The Return of Downton Abbey” as a “Related Article”–it’s great to be in such fine company. There’s one small error, though, in your post: it’s not Lavinia’s money that Matthew refuses to take, it’s her father’s money (and yes, you can carp that it includes her money since Dad Swire was her only heir). So maybe you you can add another layer to the cake?

You aren’t alone, Maureen. I, too — cue superficial bewilderment — haven’t seen Downton Abbey.

But as an addict, I highly recommend Breaking Bad.
